Inspired by Japanese furoshiki, the gift wraps are handmade from squares of recycled batik. Reusable wraps provide the perfect answer to wrapping paper waste - and using recycled fabric makes them extra sustainable.
From birthdays and weddings to Diwali or Christmas, our versatile batik wraps make any gifting occasion special. Suitable for everyone, it takes minimal practice to perfect furoshiki techniques and you’ll soon find that fabric wrapping is noticeably quicker and easier than paper and tape.
Each wrap is accompanied by three eco-friendly handmade gift tags and an instruction booklet.

Variations
All the wraps in our recycled Batik collection are limited edition. Once a particular pattern has sold out, it is gone for good. We will, however, continue to add new, beautiful and unique designs to our collection.
In our current collection, we have -
BATIK FISH - lightweight recycled cotton wraps featuring little batik fishes swimming across a background of misty blues and greens.
BATIK DIAMOND - lightweight cotton wraps with a batik crackle pattern of geometric diamonds in shades of purple and black.
BATIK PHOENIX - lightweight cotton wraps patterned with stylised foliage in an unusual colourway of tan, coffee and black.
BATIK GOLD - light to medium weight cotton wraps with groups of turquoise horseshoes set against a mustardy-gold background - perfect for ‘good luck’ gifts.
BATIK ROYALE - light to medium weight fabric wraps, featuring an elegant, floral-patterned batik print in gold and purple.

As our products are handmade, there may be a small variation in sizing.

Made from
The Batik collection is handmade from good quality, recycled batiks and batik-patterned fabrics. Repurposing fabric and giving it a new lease of life makes the Batik wraps extra sustainable. Each wrap is carefully roll hemmed with responsibly sourced organic cotton thread.
The instruction card accompanying the wraps are printed on 100% recycled and recyclable Kraft card.
The pack of three gift tags is handmade using card and fabric offcuts from our instruction card and wrap production.
All our packaging is plastic free. We send out parcels in 100% recycled card sleeves or boxes and only use eco-friendly paper tape. If a parcel needs padding, we use fabric offcuts or paper from parcels we ourselves have received.
Fabric gift wraps shouldn’t need laundering, but if they do get grubby we recommend a cool wash setting and gentle eco-friendly detergent. Although creases and wrinkles do not show once the fabric is wrapped around a gift, the wraps can be ironed.
