One day course at Rick Stein's Cookery School in Padstow and take home a signed Rick Stein cookery book.
Your one day course will be full of chef demonstrations and hands-on cooking with plenty of support and helpful tips along the way as you prepare, cook and enjoy some of Rick's most popular dishes. You will be using the very best ingredients we can lay our hands on including of course the very best Cornish fish and shellfish. You will be able to relax and enjoy eating the dishes you have created at our en-famille dining table with lovely views over the estuary and a glass of wine or two along the way.
When you arrive in the morning enjoy a tea or coffee whilst browsing the recipes for the day and meeting your fellow chefs. Throughout the morning Nick and the team will demonstrate each recipe before you then recreate each dish in pairs at your workstation and have time to relax and sample the results of your new found cooking skills. In the afternoon after you have prepared your final dish you will sit to lunch at the dining table to eat, chat to your fellow chefs and enjoy a glass of wine before the team finish with their last demonstration dish. The day rounds off with each student being presented with their Rick Stein's Cookery School certificate and signed Rick Stein cookery book to take home.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Choose from a wide selection of one day courses including our core fish and shellfish days, British seafood and a wide range of courses based on Rick's travels around the world including the Far East, Asia, the Mediterranean and most recently Mexico. Specific courses and dates can be chosen after purchase.
Our courses are suitable for food enthusiasts who want to build on their knowledge and skills or those beginners who are keen to learn more and not quite as confident. Classes are up to sixteen people which allows the chefs to be able to assist you one to one as you cook your dishes. The school will provide you with everything you need for the course.
