This Whippet - Greyhound wall hanging is one of my bestsellers and is handmade from 1.2mm sheet copper, then kiln enamelled. The collar has 24 karat gold leaf, hence the amazing bright colour.
This is inspired by my own dog Toni and is about 10 inches in circumference. She stands out from the mount by a few millimetres casting a slight shadow in certain lights.
The box frame is double-mounted with glass at the front (no glass in this photo to stop reflections).
There can be lots of variations in colour with kiln-fired enamels. Please contact me if there are specific colours you like. With my dog art I can put a particular dog's name rather than "Dog Uninterrupted" also.
With all my enamel pieces the colour can change somewhat from what you see here; sometimes the colours are more affected by the copper oxides than others (particularly transparent blues and opaque whites), but this variation in colour and the resulting texture it creates is one of the things that makes every piece unique.
