A beautifully handmade illuminated Gemini constellation original print within a light box. An original gift for those born between May 21st and June 20th.
The print itself has been hand printed from a ply woodblock using midnight blue ink and a dusting of gold for some added shimmer . The woodblock printing gives the print a beautiful texture with each individual print being completely unique.
A warm glow from the LED light filters through from behind the print revealing the starry sky, the stars have been hand cut out to give emphasis to the Gemini constellation and shine slightly brighter.
The illuminated print works beautifully as cosy side light positioned in a living area on a table or shelf, equally, the energy efficient LED's mean the light box would make an ideal night light.
The light box comes in a choice of black or white frame. It is glass fronted and the low voltage LED strip lights are mains powered with a UK plug, the cord length being approx 1m 45cm.
The personalisation option on the print usually name, date of birth and constellation name (Gemini). It is hand typed using a well loved vintage Imperial 66 typewriter. The gives the print an aged, old world feel in its style.
