This is an intricately illustrated drawing of a Goldstreifiger, drawn to highlight it's vulnerability and beauty!
This brightly coloured illustrated beetle, lives in pine forests, living in and consuming dead wood. The goldstreifiger beetle has become extremely rare in Europe, and it is down to illegal logging, a lack of land management and slow growth of habitat.

My paper has been sourced from suppliers who care about the paper quality they are selling and use FSC certified sustainable sources and are ArtSure approved; I use natural and uncoated paper which minimises chemical use.
The inks we use are solvent free, low odour and can be cleaned using water.
