This item is made from clear glass and the bird illustration in hand engraved by artist Jessica Bartlett. Hand engraving is the process of drawing with a drill in order to build up marks on the glass. The panel is then finished with a traditional stained glass technique of copper foiling and metal solder to form a frame. The piece can be hung using the blue ribbon.
