The Mariner Six Drawer Chest is arguably the signature piece from the Mariner collection.
A unique and original chest predominantly crafted from reclaimed boat wood. Due its rich heritage each piece is full of character and due to the nature of the materials used no two pieces are quite the same. Wood colour will vary from than shown in the product images.
Boats that have reached the end of their lifespan are dismantled into large planks. The bolts, nails and screws are then removed sometimes leaving small holes. Having survived years at sea the wood is extremely strong.
It is kiln dried for 15 days before its is assembled into this amazing piece of furniture. Paint flecks, wood cracks and small holes are all intrinsic features of this charming rustic collection.
This particular piece features three rows of two deep drawers. We love the curved edges on these pieces, especially the rounded drawer corners which are so tactile.
