THE BEE BLOCK:

The small bee block/bee hotel is an innovative, freestanding bee nest site for your garden. Designed and made by Green&Blue in their Cornish studio, the bee block is an award-winning way to provide habitat for pollinators and looks stunning stood in the garden. If you’re undertaking any building work you can also build the small bee block into your project, it looks beautiful built into a wall and creates much-needed habitat.

Because the bee hotel is made from concrete it is hardy and will withstand all seasons. If you wish to you can clean the cavities once a year when you are certain that they are empty, we recommend at the end of the season when you're certain there is no more activity (around October time). Full instructions on where to put your bee hotel and how to care for it are included within the packaging and literature.

The Bee Block comes wrapped in a simple card wrap to protect the product with a sleeve that contains more information about solitary bees.

THE SEEDBOMS:

A positively buzzing mix of wildflower seeds that will grow into bright and beautiful nectar rich flowers loved by bumblebees and honey bees.

The Pollinator Beebom Seedboms couldn’t be easier to use. The starch-based compostable shell is filled with organic compost and seeds. All you need to do is find an area of unloved space – then shake it, soak it, throw it and grow it.

With a combination of wildflower seeds chosen from the RHS ‘perfect for pollinators’ list, your garden will be abuzz with pollinating bees in no time! You don’t need any experience to grow these stunning flowers, so the Pollinator Beebom Seedbom makes the perfect gift for gardeners as well as beginners.

If you don’t have a lot of space, you can even grow these wildflowers in pots. We recommend you choose one that’s at least 30 cm wide to give them enough space to thrive.

For best results, plant your Seedbom between March and June. If you want to get a head start on next year, plant them between August and October and wait to watch them bloom the following summer.

Spread: We recommend allowing approx 15cm all around the Seedbom for spreading.

Shelf life: For best results we recommend Seedboms are grown within 1 year of purchase.
